The World Youth Day required large altar structures for the Pope’s visit to Australia and the pilgrim celebrations in both Randwick and Barangaroo.
The structures accommodated 700 Cardinals and Bishops, a 300 piece choir and 100 musicians. ES Group Australia Pty Ltd managed, built and dismantled the structures which were largely built using ES Group rental equipment.
The event was held in Sydney from 15th-20th July 2008.
