Saturday 19th June 2010, saw Green Day's first ever appearance at Wembley Stadium. Following the success of their last visit to London where they played at the O2, the band returned to London to perform the open air concert five years on from their last open air performance in England at Milton Keynes.
ESS was contracted to supply the stage and support structures and the company were more than happy to help the band mark the momentous occasion of playing Wembley Stadium.
ESS designed, managed and installed the 24m stage which was created using the company's regular truss system. ESS also provided the spot towers, camera platforms, PA and video wings and the VIP platform.
The equipment was transported to Wembley Stadium using 15 of sister company EST's iconic purple and yellow trucks.
